Alex King (201-PF-85) is one of those rare easyCredit BBL players that just doesn’t want to hang up his sneakers as the 35 year old continues to win titles and and rack up more BBL games. The 201cm forward played the last 7 years with Alba Berlin and FC Bayern Munich winning 7 titles. Now he returns back to an old stomping ground s.Oliver Wurzburg where he played from 2011-2013. He comes back to Wurzburg and is on loan from the Munich top team FC Bayern. Last season with FC Bayern munich he played 27 BBL games averaging 4.7ppg, 1.2rpg; and played 18 Euroleague games: averaging .7ppg.

The German who comes to Wurzburg with 585 BBL games and straped on the German national jersey 42 times began his career with Eintracht Frankfurt and played in the Frankfurt Skyliners organization until 2008 helping win the 2004 BBL title. The 7/7 three pointers he made in the Eurocup with Wurzburg 8 years ago remains a huge memory as he will wear the number 77 now. Before coming to Wurzburg in 2011 where he surprisingly helped lead the team to the semi-finals of the playoffs under John Patrick and kick out Alba Berlin played 111 BBL games for the Telekom Baskets Bonn from 2008-2011. “I ahae positive memories of my 2 years in Wurzburg and am happy that Denis Wucherer and the club gave me the chance to return. I have sampled much experience in the last 7 years and want to give that to the young players”, stressed Alex King.
