Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge is very keen on signing with Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The season is pretty much over for Mikel Arteta’s men and they are now just playing to get as high up that Premier League as possible, maybe even sneak a European place in the process.
But that has not stopped speculation about players that could potentially make the move to the Emirates in the summer, and Berge has been a player that has been linked with a move to the Emirates for some time.
A number of top European clubs are also known to be keen on the Norway international, who returned to competitive action on Sunday after more than four months out with a hamstring injury
And According to Football.London, the 23-year-old is keen on a move to the Emirates, but any potential transfer could be tied to the future of his fellow Norway international Martin Odegaard.
Football.London say a source close to Berge has told them that there is a ‘high possibility’ the midfielder could join the Gunners this summer, but it ‘depends on Martin [Odegaard]’s decision’, with the pair close friends
Look, there are too many occasions that Arsenal miss out on players that could make a real impact on the side simply because they like to be tight with their money, but Berge is a player that would add to the squad.
There is alot of interest in the player, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up, but if the Gunners could get a deal done for the player, he could be a very smart move.
