We bring you last week’s top performances from Ukrainians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
   #1. This week’s number one is former U20 international point guard Maksim Miroshnichenko (182-96, currently plays in Belarus). He led Grodno to a victory over the league outsider SDUSHOR (0-11) crushing them 141-45 in the Belarusian Premier League in Saturday night’s game.
Miroshnichenko was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 21 points and making 13 passes. Miroshnichenko also added 8 rebounds, 2 blocks and 6 steals in 23 minutes on the court.
BK Grodno-93 (10-0) is placed first in the Premier League.
So far his team won all ten games in the Regular Season.
It’s Miroshnichenko’s fourth season with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year: 14.9ppg, 3.5rpg, 7.0apg, 2.3spg, 2FGP: 67.4%(29-43), 3FGP: 44.0% and FT: 93.3%(28-30) in eight games he played so far.
Miroshnichenko played for the Ukrainian U20 national team four years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former U16 international center Maksym Kozlovets (202-90, currently plays in Belarus). He was the major contributor in an Impuls BGUIR Minsk‘s victory against one of league’s weakest teams Gomel (1-9) crushing them 101-66 in the Belarusian Premier League last Saturday.
Kozlovets scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line).
Impuls BGUIR Minsk (6-3) is placed fifth in the Premier League.
This season Kozlovets has relatively solid stats: 13.3ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.4apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 58.3%(14-24), 3FGP: 35.3%.
He played for the Ukrainian U16 national team in 2006.

   #3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international point guard Ernesto Tkachuk (190-94, currently plays in Belarus). Tkachuk contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Tsmoki II (3-7) crushing them 90-67 in the Belarusian Premier League on Saturday night.
He recorded 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
Rubon Vitebsk OBK-Voktsor (7-4) is placed fourth in the Premier League.
It was his team’s third consecutive victory in a row.
Tkachuk’s overall stats this season are: 7.4ppg, 2.8rpg, 8.2apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 85.7%, 3FGP: 18.2% and FT: 77.8%.
He played for the Ukrainian U20 national team six years ago.

   #4. An experienced shooting guard Oleksadr Kobzystyi (200-3, currently plays in Serbia) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Borac U19 (2-5) crushing them 97-58 in the Serbian JLS (third division) last Sunday.
Kobzystyi recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
BC Mega Soccerbet Sremska Mitrovica U19 team (6-0) is placed first in the JLS.
So far his team won all six games in the Regular Season.
Kobzystyi has reliable stats this season: 10.7ppg, 7.2rpg, 2.3apg and 1.5bpg.
He used to play for the Ukrainian U16 national team
last year.

   #5. Former U20 international center Volodymyr Orlov (208-95, currently plays in Spain) contributed to Zornotza‘s victory against the eighth-ranked Carbajosa (3-4) 87-75 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) on Saturday night.
Orlov had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 12 rebounds in 27 minutes.
Zornotza Saskibaloi Taleda (6-1) is placed second in West group.
It was his team’s fifth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
It’s Orlov’s first year with the team.
He averaged so far 11.6ppg and 6.0rpg in seven games.
Orlov has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and Spanish.
He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team
five years ago.

   #6. Center Konstantin Anikenko (218-92, currently plays in Slovakia) managed to help BKM Lucenec in a victory against the league outsider Inter Bratislava (3-8) 68-59 in the Slovakian SBL last Wednesday.
Anikenko scored only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 24 minutes.
BKM Lucenec (8-5) is placed third in the SBL.
It was his team’s third consecutive victory in a row.
This year Anikenko averages: 6.6ppg and 4.8rpg in 13 games.
He is a former U20 international player as he played for the Ukrainian team eight years ago.

   #7. Former U18 international center Volodymyr Markovetskyy (216-0, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to a 3-point WSU‘s victory against the Eastern Washington University (0-1) 71-68 in the NCAA in Saturday night’s game.
He recorded only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court.
The Washington State University has 1-0 conference record this season.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
This year Markovetskyy’s overall stats are: 0.7ppg and 1.3rpg in three games.
He used to play for the Ukrainian U18 national team
two years ago.

   #8. Power forward Andriy Kulish (204-92, currently plays in Israel) could not help M.Kiryat Motzkin (1-3) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Kulish’s good performance M.Kiryat Motzkin was crushed 100-72 at home by the leading I.Ramat Gan.
He scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Kulish’s total stats this season are: 6.8ppg and 3.8rpg.
He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team
back in 2012.
   #9. Former U20 international center Dmitro Berozhkin (211-97, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Zamora in their game against Filipenses (3-3) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division).
Berozhkin was the second best scorer with 7 points in only 13 minutes.
The tenth-placed Zamora (1-3) was crushed 79-49 on the road by the higher-ranked (#4) Filipenses in the Group A-B.
It was Zamora’s third consecutive loss in a row.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
This year Berozhkin’s total stats are: 6.5ppg and 1.3rpg in four games.
He used to play for the Ukrainian U20 national team
three years ago.

   #10. Forward Pavlo Dziuba (203-3, currently studies in the States) contributed to an ASU‘s surprising victory against the Houston Baptist University crushing them 100-77 in the NCAA in Sunday night’s game.
Dziuba scored only one point.
The Arizona State University has 1-0 conference record this season.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
This season Dziuba averages only 1.5ppg.
He is U16 international player as one years ago he still played for the Ukrainian national team.

   #11. U18 international small forward Vladyslav Radchenko (198-1, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the 16th-ranked Palermo crushing them 91-71 in the Italian Serie B (third division) in Saturday night’s game.
Radchenko scored 8 points and had 3 steals in only 13 minutes.
Radchenko has averaged so far 5.0ppg and 1.5spg in two games.
He used to play for the Ukrainian U18 national team
last year.

The list of other players, who all have Ukrainian passport but never been selected to any of Ukrainian national teams:

   #1. Experienced Ivan Kalyaev (199-F-87, currently plays in Belarus) led Grodno to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Grodno GrSU (5-6) crushing them 109-65 in a derby game in the Belarusian Premier League on Saturday night.
Kalyaev recorded 12 points, 4 assists and 6 steals in 20 minutes.
BK Grodno-93 (10-0) is placed first in the Premier League.
So far his team won all ten games in the Regular Season.
Kalyaev is one of the most experienced players in a team as it’s his sixth year in Grodno’s roster.
He has reliable stats this season: 11.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.6apg and 2.8spg in 10 games he played so far.

   #2. Andrey Martyuk (206-PF-0, currently plays in VTB United League). Martyuk could not help Lokomotiv (5-3) to beat Parma (3-3).
He recorded 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Lokomotiv was edged 84-81 on the road by the lower-ranked Parma (#7).
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It’s Martyuk’s first year with the team.
Martyuk’s overall stats this season are: 3.5ppg and 1.8rpg.

   #3. Igor Nesterenko (203-C-90, currently plays in Balkan League) was not able to help one of league’s weakest teams H.Haifa (1-2) in their last game. Despite his good performance H.Haifa was badly defeated 92-76 in Hod Hasharon by the second-ranked Bnei Hasharon.
Nesterenko was the top scorer with 14 points in 21 minutes.
The First Round already ended in the Balkan League.
Nesterenko has reliable stats this year: 15.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.5apg in two games.
He has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and Israeli.
Despite Nesterenko’s Ukrainian passport, he previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Ukrainian team.

   #4. Nikolay Eremin (204-C-85, currently plays in Russia) led Dynamo-MGTU to a victory over the closely-ranked AltajBasket (7-2) 77-65 in the Russian Superleague 2 (third division) in Wednesday night’s game.
Eremin was the best player in that game. He had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 12 rebounds in 33 minutes.
Dynamo-MGTU Maykop (5-4) is placed fifth in the Superleague 2.
It was his team’s third consecutive victory in a row.
Eremin is one of the most experienced players in a team as it’s his seventh year in Dynamo’s roster.
Eremin has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.1ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.1apg in eight games.

   #5. Anton Savitski (196-F-86, currently plays in Spain) was the main contributor in Ardoi‘s victory against the ninth-ranked Valle de Egues (0-1) 72-65 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) in Sunday night’s game.
Savitski was the best player in that game. He recorded 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
Megacalzado Ardoi (7-1) is placed second in Group A-A.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Savitski is one of the most experienced players in a team as it’s his seventh year in Ardoi’s roster.
Savitski averaged so far 14.5ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.0spg.
He is another player who holds two passports: Ukrainian and Spanish.

   #6. Artem Yailo (202-F-0, currently plays in Spain) was the major contributor in Quintanar‘s victory against the fifth-ranked Movistar Estudiantes Madrid B team 68-52 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) on Saturday night.
Yailo scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Yailo averaged so far 14.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.3spg.

   #7. Oleksandr Kushchev (201-PF-90, currently plays in Italy) managed to help Societa Consortile Virtus Pozzuoli in a victory against the third-ranked Sant Antimo 70-64 in the Italian Serie B (third division) last Saturday.
Kushchev scored only 4 points in 16 minutes. It was his first game for Pozzuoli this season.
Kushchev has both Ukrainian and Italian nationalities.

   #8. Aleksander Szczerbatiuk (177-PG-96, currently plays in Poland) contributed to a 2-point OKK Sokol Ostrow Mazowiecka‘s victory against the leader BKS Tur Bielsk Podlaski 69-67 in the Polish 2Liga (third division) on Saturday night.
He was the best player in that game. Szczerbatiuk scored 18 points and added 6 assists.
This season Szczerbatiuk has very high stats. He averages: 17.6ppg, 3.4rpg, 6.8apg and 1.6spg.

   #9. Vitaliy Telcharov (181-PG-96, currently plays in Bulgaria) contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Mix crushing them 98-78 in a derby game in the Bulgarian Division A (second division) last Sunday.
Telcharov recorded 14 points.
This season Telcharov has very high stats. He averages: 17.0ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.5apg and 1.8spg.

   #10. Dimitri Klyuchnyk (210-C-1, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Cremona‘s victory against the 11th-ranked Fiorenzuola 88-82 in the Italian Serie B (third division) on Saturday night.
Klyuchnyk recorded 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds (made all of his five free throws) in 15 minutes. It was his first game for Cremona this season.
Klyuchnyk also holds two passports: Ukrainian and Italian.
